Added Aggression of Taliban Since Troop Withdrawal


Since the announced troop withdrawal by Obama, Taliban's forces have increased their aggression and boldness. They are getting closer and closer to approaching Kabul, and many analysts believe that the troop withdrawal does not reflect what is actually happening on the ground. 

This is what the Taliban always do, though. They try to scare the public and officials as much as they can, because their numbers are not much. Their true power is fear and making people believe that they are powerful.

The Rise of Confidence in the National Afghan Army Comes with a Price


Life is changing in Afghanistan on a daily basis.

One of the largest shifts that is occurring now is the hand-over to the Afghan national army. It is beginning to unfold city-by-city, and Afghan politicians are gaining more confidence in this move.

But the terrorists have seemed to devise new methods of attack, taking down Afghan politicians without notice or with an edge of caution by intelligence. This rise of positive enforcement in the Afghan national army has caused the extremists to act with desperation.

But a group can be desperate for only so long.
